The Theatre elective is a twenty-week course offered the fall semester designed to introduce students to theatre history, dramatic literature, oral interpretation, readers' theatre, acting, playwriting, directing, set design, and lighting. The course is project and performance based. The final evaluation consists of a self-written and performed monologue and a group performance modeled after Arthur Schnitzler's play Hands Around. Students are also required to do morning announcements.
