Hector Comprehensive Plan Public Input Meetings - PDF file
Public meetings have been scheduled for continued input on the Hector Comprehensive
Plan. Please attend the meetings to provide your thoughts, opinions and feelings.

A Comprehensive Plan Survey Questionnaire has been mailed to all residents/taxpayers. Your feedback is important to the Town of Hector, NY. This will help to complete a Comprehensive Plan for the town. Topics surveyed include but not limited to: infrastructure; community; housing; agriculture; energy development; and transportation. Return your completed survey to Hector Town Hall, 5097 NYS Route 227, Burdett, NY 14818 by mail or hand deliver in a sealed envelope. You may also go online to www.hectorcp.com and fill one out electronically. Every resident of Hector is encouraged to fill one out. If you have any questions you may go to www.hectorcp.com or call 607-216-4914 Surveys will be received until May 14, 2012. Public meetings will also be scheduled and advertised.

**Seneca Lake Byway, Inc.(SLBI) - The Town of Hector has voted to support the local Senaca Lake Hector Lodi Byway. Presently the SLBI group has meetings on an ad-hoc basis at the Finger Lakes National Forest Headquarters. All meetings are open to the public. The group hopes to get the route, which runs from the Hector line through the village of Lodi in Seneca County, designated as a scenic byway.DOT has now approved the Scenic Byway and the group is moving forward with the Legislators in Albany, NY, to get final approval. |
