November 10 Weds: Roundtable Program - "How to Speak Scouting"
November 13 Sat: Train-o-Ree - this is a special one-day "University" for boy leaders - Senior Patrol Leaders and Assistants, Patrol Leaders and Assistants, Jr. Asst. Scoutmasters, and any other troop boy leaders (or prospective boy leaders selected by the Scoutmaster). This day of training will offer extra training for boy leaders, complementing the troop-level Junior Leader Training and council-level NYLT. Details will be posted to the Training Page as available.
November 13 Sat: Boy Scout Leader Basic Training
November 19-20 Fri-Sat: Popcorn Distribution*
December 4 Sat: BALOO (location to be announced): Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) is a one-day training event that introduces leaders and parents to the skills needed to plan and conduct pack outdoor activities, particularly pack camping.
December 4 Sat: District Recharter day - Brown & Michaels Offices, 118 N. Tioga St. 4th Floor, Ithaca - all units should have completed their online rechartering by this time, and should bring the completed paperwork to Recharter Day for checking and collection.
December 8 Weds: This is Scouting training will be offered at Roundtable. This will be in addition to, and parallel with, our regular December Roundtable program, so that those new leaders at all levels who have not yet taken This is Scouting or its predecessor NLE will have an additional opportunity to complete their training.

Dates after August 2011 should be considered tentative. The District Committee will review the calendar at its January 2011 District planning session, and the intention is to have a "firm" calendar covering August 2011-July 2012, with future plans through December 2013, on this website by mid-May 2011.
